TV

       As far as I know, the most popular TV show is Running Man. This TV show is come from Korea, and it very hot in Asian. This show is about some competitions. Every time, two groups need fight. And the competition almost about exercise. That is a good show to teens and children. And let us know the exercise is important to us.

       I think Prezi is different from normal presentation. Prezi is more interesting. And it like people’thought, clear and easy to understand. We use this one did two presentations, one is music, one is pop around the word. I think it better than regular power point software. It is easy to attract audience. And the important is this software is new to me.

Food

 I choose Custom-Made. I think this reading so interesting. This reading’s main idea is if the food company want to succeed in the other countries, they need change their menu. And the new food style will accepted by local people. After I read this article, I think the KFC and Mcdonald’s are very successful in China. But there are different food styles from America’s. Many of people like both, they are very popular. In fact, in their menu, includes traditional Chinese food, like rice,congee, and deep-fried. I think this is a reason for their succeed. It seems the food company wants to develop foreign, the local people’s food style is very important.

Movie

Titanic describes a very romantic story. It is an epic romantic disaster film. Jack and Rose, are main characters. And about this movie, when the Titanic was sinking was the most impressive part. This part is very spectacular, it full of despair, death and leave. It is very realist. When we look at the scene, listen to people’s screams, feel the fear and despair, the frighten and sad full of our emotions. I think  the scene perfectly. Although this movie is older, I still really like it.

Music

       My favorite song is My Love. Because this song let me know what is love feel. And I think this musical group have nice voice, make this song very beautiful. In the same time, this song includes my many memories. It let me start looking forward to love. And in that time, this song was very popular and hot. I remembered almost my whole classmates can singing it. That was so crazy.

Reading

       I picked the essay is ‘People Like Us.’ Because this article left a deep impression on me. This essay’s main idea is the different levels people live in the same area is better or not. In my opinions, the different levels people live separate is better. Because the same levels people easy to communicate. And in the other hand, the same levels people live in the same area, that is better for society, maybe they do not have argument or less. And I think live with the similar person as me, I will be more happy and relax.

Cultural Identity

       My poster introduced my hometown-Shenyang. Shenyang is an international city, and it very famous in China. Shenyang has a high level economic, special culture, delicious food and lovely people. On my poster, there are some pictures about shopping center ,you can see some very expensive brand. Some picture about Shenyang Imperial Place, this is the Qing dynasty palace. The biggest picture is museum . And on the right side, that's Shenyang's center, very busy. About food , we like spicy, salty food , that's very nice to us.

Pop Culture

       I think pop culture influence everybody, include me. Since I came here, I already have changed a lot, like I eat hamburg everyday, I love cheese very much. Before I came here, I was not. And since I taking this class, let me knew many pop cultures from different countries before I never touched. And different countries have different attitude to the pop culture. That is interest. And in the same time, this class tell us how to make our lives more and more pretty in foreign.
